Dewa Roman Experience

Dewa Roman Experience is an exciting, educational and hands-on day out. Children can experience the sights, sounds and smells of Roman Britain, and view genuine archaeological finds led by two experienced and knowledgeable members of staff.

For school visits, Dewa offers a tour around its exciting and interactive Museum, which boasts a 'hands-on' room, offering the chance to have a go at:

- The Roman Smells Challenge
- Trying on armour
- Building a hypocaust
- Firing a catapult
- Creating a mosaic

In addition to this, children can go on Roman Soldier Patrols. Armed with shields, your pupils will discover what it was like to be a Roman, visiting an amphitheatre and defending its walls!
