Tata and Mama gave it to me when I was only two years old and they told me never to take it off.
They said it would protect me as long as I wore it. They said if I ever took it off then evil spirits might give me the 'evil eye' because I am so beautiful and rich and also a princess. (But I am never to brag about being a princess; it is a secret).
They said my lucky eye bead would turn away the evil eye of jealous people.
